Rain, Snain, Snow

So the #cirrus forecast from yesterday was correct. The weather has changed quite dramatically, from sunbathing weather on Monday to a snainy day today. Snain is the kind of rain that has not quite decided if it should be rain or snow.

Everything was quiet at the pool, everybody is hunkering down for the day, I think. I stayed for about 20 minutes then walked the long way back to find the air shafts marked on the map which are evidence of the tunnel for the disused Delph to Oldham line. I talk briefly about that in this video which explains a bit about the history of my sit spot, and I plan to find out more about the local history in the area.
