I've looked at clouds from both sides now

Pretty quiet at the pool today. Heron was around for a little while but I didn't see him catch anything for breakfast. One lone male mallard, I hope he hasn't been ghosted after his antics yesterday. He hung around for quite some time, both in the water and standing on the bank, waiting....

As it was quiet and, for the first time in days, there were clouds in the sky, I decided to start taking a closer look at clouds to identify weather patterns.

From this cloud identification flowchart I could work out that today's were cirrus clouds.

This generally means that a change in the weather is on the way as these clouds form in front of a weather front. The barometric pressure has dropped today as well, from 1034 to 1014, another indication that the weather will be changing, and rain could be on the way.
